Located just 6-7 minutes from the Carlisle M6 junction, it serves as an ideal stopover for those journeying across the country. During our visit, we were welcomed warmly, even when our late arrival due to heavy traffic posed potential issues. Despite unforeseen circumstances with the chef, our gracious hostess stepped in to prepare our meal, demonstrating flexibility that made our stay feel more personal than corporate. The steak pie was undoubtedly a highlight of the dining experience. The accommodations were commendable; our room featured stunning views over the river and was kept meticulously clean. The common areas, including the sitting room with a roaring fire, were inviting and perfect for relaxation. the availability of free Wi-Fi and dog-friendly amenities added significant value for travelers like myself who appreciate a seamless experience. I look forward to returning for future family visits.
